Prepare for Optimal Results: Considering the possibility of cold sores post-procedure, we recommend starting an antiviral medication/cream course a few days before and continuing afterward. Expect mild to moderate swelling immediately after the procedure, so plan your appointment before your days off work for a comfortable recovery. Applying an ice pack (covered in a clean towel and foil/paper) can alleviate initial swelling.
